Our Practice

We represent individuals and families in a range of family-related and estate-related legal matters. Some engagements involve long-term representation; others are more limited in scope. Our approach is structured, intentional, and tailored to the posture of the matter.

Family-Related Matters

We represent clients in family-related legal matters involving changes to family structure, caregiving, and financial responsibility.  Our work in this area includes:

  • Custody and custody modifications

  • Divorce and related claims

  • Child and spousal support

  • Protection from Abuse (PFA) matters

  • Adoption and termination of parental rights

  • Post-decree and enforcement matters

Family matters vary widely in complexity and intensity. Representation is structured based on the specific needs of the case and the level of involvement required.

Estate Matters

We work with clients on both proactive planning and estate-related disputes.  Our estate practice includes:

  • Wills and powers of attorney

  • Trust planning

  • Probate and estate administration

  • Estate and fiduciary litigation

  • Will contests and beneficiary disputes

Some estate matters are straightforward planning engagements. Others arise in the context of disagreement or litigation. We tailor representation accordingly.

Scope of Representation

Not every situation requires comprehensive representation. Some clients benefit from targeted legal assistance at a specific stage, while others require ongoing advocacy.  We discuss scope, timing, and expectations at the outset so clients can make informed decisions about how to proceed.

Fees are discussed in advance and are typically structured on a flat-fee basis, depending on the nature and posture of the matter. Defined scope representation allows for greater predictability and clarity throughout the engagement.

Next Steps

If you are unsure whether your situation falls within our practice, an initial conversation is often the best place to start.
